Our approach
UQ Materials Performance has a dedicated team of engineers and industrial chemists with a wide range of specialist expertise and experience. Our team works together with our clients to clearly understand and define the problem and to scope and cost the most appropriate investigation to answer the client’s questions. Our rigorous and cross-disciplinary approach brings fresh perspectives and avoids bias due to preconceptions.
We are able to provide a value-for-money fixed price quote to carry out an agreed scope of works. Alternatively, we can work efficiently under a schedule of rates where the full quantum of work is not known in advance. Specialist consultants within the University or externally are also engaged as required. These include staff from civil, electrical, mining and chemical engineering. If needed, we can deliver expert witness reports to meet court requirements.
